A logo design contest has been announced for the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics

Al-Farabi Kazakh National UNiversity, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, announces a конкурс for the development of a new faculty logo.

Contest objectives

• To обновить the faculty’s image and формировать it in a modern style;

• To propose creative ideas reflecting the faculty’s scientific potential and quality of education;

• To develop a new design suitable for use in image and informational materials (official letterheads, social media, banners, anniversary materials/merchandise);

• To соблюсти copyright requirements;

• To prevent copying and plagiarism.

Key requirements

• The work must be выполнена in a minimalist style;

• The shape of the эмблема КазНУ имени Аль‑Фараби should be used as the basis;

• The logo must clearly represent the faculty’s направления: mechanics and mathematics;

• The design must be convenient for use in official documents, social media, and branded materials;

• конкурсные works are accepted until February 28.

Participant information

The following details must be provided вместе with the submission:

• Full name;

• Year of study / position.

Contest terms

• Participants must send their original logo design in JPEG format, along with a brief explanatory text, to +7 771 173 4308;

• Submitted materials may be published in the faculty’s official information channels;

• The logo recognized as the best will be adopted as the faculty’s official symbol.

Submissions will be evaluated by members of the faculty’s Academic Council.
The winner will receive a letter of appreciation from the faculty leadership and a monetary prize.
