Student and Law: Q&A Platform

20 february, 2026

On February 26, 2026, third-year students of the educational program “6B11300 – Logistics (by Industry)” of the Department of Business Technologies at the Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in a substantive discussion held within the framework of the “Law and Order” concept implementation.

The meeting was initiated by PhD, Associate Research Professor of the Department of Business Technologies, Nazdana Dzhems-Uatovna Adilova, and Senior Lecturer of the Faculty of Law, Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Master of Laws, Kanat Alikhan.

The discussion was far from formal; it was dynamic and engaging. Participants addressed issues of legal culture, business responsibility, compliance with legislation in the field of logistics, administrative risks, and the consequences of managerial decisions. The educational and moral dimension of the meeting became central. Future specialists in the transport and logistics sector must understand that sustainable development is impossible without the rule of law, transparency, and personal responsibility. Law is not a restriction, but a tool for stability and trust in the economy.

The event directly aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 16 “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions,” which aims to promote just, accountable, and inclusive institutions at all levels. In addition, the topics of business responsibility and sustainable management decisions correlate with SDG 8 “Decent Work and Economic Growth” and SDG 9 “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.”

Such meetings foster not only professional competencies but also civic responsibility. This is an investment in the future of the industry, because logistics without law works fast - but not for long.
