KazNU Master's Students Honor the Memory of Academician Abdimalik Nysanbayev

As part of their research internship, second-year Master's students of the Department of Philosophy at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University attended an extended session at the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science, and Religious Studies dedicated to the memory of Academician Abdimalik Nysanbayev.

On February 26, 2026, the Center for World and Kazakh Philosophy hosted a commemorative meeting focused on the life and scientific legacy of Abdimalik Nysanbayev, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, and Honored Scientist of Kazakhstan.

The event began with opening remarks from the Institute's leadership. Colleagues and students highlighted his invaluable contribution to the development of national philosophy and his exemplary role as a mentor. Furthermore, the participants discussed organizational plans for the upcoming 90th anniversary of the scholar, to be celebrated in 2027.

Born in 1937 in the Kyzylorda region, Abdimalik Nysanbayev dedicated his entire career to the advancement of Kazakh philosophy. During the years of independence, he spearheaded its institutional development. His fundamental research spanned dialectical logic, the philosophy and methodology of science, and Turkic philosophy. Under his guidance, a prominent scientific school was established, producing numerous doctoral and candidate researchers.

Academician Nysanbayev’s work remains a cornerstone of national intellectual heritage and a vital guide for future generations of scholars.
