New projects with the Turkic Academy are planned

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with President of the International Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev. The meeting was attended by vice-rectors, department directors, and faculty deans.

During the talks, issues of expanding bilateral cooperation, joint implementation of scientific projects and organization of events at the international level were comprehensively discussed.

The parties have identified a specific plan for joint events between KazNU and the Turkic Academy. In particular, preparations have been worked out for an international scientific conference on Turkology, which will be held at the university in May. The event is dedicated to the study of the language, literature, history and culture of the Turkic peoples, which will support the scientific research of young scientists. It is planned that famous scientists, Turkologists, experts and historians from other countries will take part in the large-scale event.

The issues of studying the historical and cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples, joint study of archival and manuscript collections, publication of general monographs and scientific collections were also discussed during the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, KazNU Rector Zhanseit Tuimebayev noted the importance of the event, which will be held at the university, and noted that the university will provide comprehensive assistance.
