Curator hour on the topic “The Role of Women in Modern Society”
On March 3, 2026, the curator of group IS 2301 (3rd year, Information Systems major), Sh.U. Maksutova, conducted an open curator hour on the topic “The Role of Women in Modern Society.”
In the era of globalization, the role of women in society has become increasingly significant. Social, economic, and cultural changes have elevated the position of women and opened opportunities for their active participation in all areas of public life. Today, women are not only the foundation of the family but also important contributors to the development of science, education, business, politics, and technology.
Modern society provides women with broad opportunities for education and professional growth. As a result, many women successfully work in various fields and demonstrate their abilities in leadership positions. This trend strengthens the principles of gender equality and allows women to fully realize their potential.
The development of digital technologies has created new opportunities for women. While this field was once considered mainly male-dominated, today women are successfully working in programming, data analysis, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. They implement innovative projects, propose new ideas, and contribute to the development of the digital economy.
In addition, women actively participate in public life. They implement social projects and play an important role in education, healthcare, environmental protection, and social support. As mothers and professionals, women contribute to preserving moral values and strengthening stability in society.
A modern woman is someone who can balance family life and career, showing responsibility and a desire for innovation and growth. Her analytical thinking, accuracy, creativity, and organizational skills contribute positively to the sustainable development of society.
