KazNU to host international events of the Turkic world

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with President of the International Foundation for Turkic Culture and Heritage Aktoty Raimkulova. The parties discussed issues of strengthening cultural ties.

Aktoty Raimkulova spoke about the foundation's projects aimed at preserving and developing Turkic culture and heritage. Currently, the foundation is doing a lot of work on the study and promotion of cultural values using artificial intelligence technologies. Aktoty Rakhmetollaevna also presented the foundation's strategic plan for 2026 and proposed to implement joint cultural projects with university scientists.

At the meeting, Rector Zhanseit Tuimebayev noted that the university attaches great importance to strengthening international cultural ties, supporting scientific research and cultural projects.

At the end of the negotiations, the parties agreed to hold a joint international conference, a symposium, and a round table meeting on the basis of KazNU.

It should be noted that in 2024, the International Foundation for Turkic Culture and Heritage and the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University signed a memorandum of understanding.
