SDG 4 – Quality Education: “Research Methodology and Issues”
A scientific and educational event titled “Research Methodology and Its Challenges” was held among master’s students of Islamic Studies at the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al‑Farabi Kazakh National University within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 4 – Quality Education.
The main objective of the event was to explain the methodological foundations of conducting scientific research to master’s students, discuss current challenges encountered in research activities, and promote the development of research culture.
During the event, participants discussed the main stages of scientific research, the effective use of research methods, working with sources, and the proper formatting of academic papers. In addition, a discussion session was organized where participants exchanged opinions and addressed common challenges in the research process and possible solutions.
The event aimed to enhance the research skills of graduate students and contribute to the development of academic research in the field of education.
The scientific supervisor of the event was Nurzат Mukan, PhD, Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies of Al‑Farabi Kazakh National University.
