ANNOUNCEMENT: PRE-DEFENSE OF DISSERTATION

On March 11, 2026, at 10:00, an extended meeting of the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University will be held.

The agenda includes the pre-defense of the doctoral dissertation of Muratbek Kudaibergenov submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) under the educational program “6D071100 – Geodesy” The dissertation is entitled:

“Geodetic substantiation of geo-ecological zoning of territories by the hazard level of gravitational processes.”

The pre-defense will be conducted in a hybrid format.

The dissertation was completed at the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics.

-          Domestic Scientific Consultant – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor H. Kasymkanova;

-          Foreign Scientific Consultant – Professor, State University of New York, Samuel B. Mukasa (USA).
