“An Educated Woman is the Key to the Future”
March 8 – International Women’s Day – is a special celebration that, together with the renewal of spring, brings warmth to the soul and joy to the heart. This day is dedicated to our beloved mothers, respected sisters, and all women who contribute to various spheres of society. The Kazakh people have always honored women, considering them the keepers of the family hearth and the pillars of harmony and prosperity.
On March 6, 2026, in honor of International Women’s Day, a festive event titled “An Educated Woman is the Key to the Future” was held at the Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The event was organized by the Departments of Computer Science and Information Systems.
The festive atmosphere was felt from the very beginning of the celebration. As soon as women entered the faculty building, students welcomed female lecturers and staff members with flowers and heartfelt congratulations. This gesture of respect and appreciation created a warm and joyful mood and highlighted the significance of this meaningful holiday.

The main purpose of the event was to recognize the professional, intellectual, and leadership potential of women, to promote their achievements in science and education, and to emphasize the important role of women in modern society among students.
During the event, faculty members and students shared their thoughts on the role of women in society, their achievements in science and education, and the importance of women’s leadership in the modern world. Participants noted that women are not only the foundation of the family but also active contributors to the socio-economic development of the country.

In addition, the festive program included congratulatory speeches, poetry recitations, as well as musical and creative performances by students. These performances enriched the event and created a special festive atmosphere for all participants.
