Surgery Department Interns Conducted a First Aid Seminar at Abyroi School

On February 27, interns of Group 20-02 of the Department of Surgery held a seminar-training for students of Abyroi School on the topic: “Basics of Pre-Medical First Aid in Emergency Situations: Control of Bleeding.”

During the seminar, participants were introduced to the basic principles of first aid in cases of bleeding and the correct algorithm of actions in emergency situations. The interns demonstrated key techniques for temporary bleeding control, including the application of a pressure bandage and the use of a tourniquet.

Such educational activities contribute to improving students’ medical awareness and developing essential first aid skills.
