Income and Expenses: How to Control Your Money

Under the guidance of Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professors of the Department of International Relations and World Economy, L.T. Isova and A.T. Kulbayeva, an open class on the topic “Income and Expenses: How to Control Your Money” was organized with the aim of improving students’ financial literacy and developing essential life skills.
During the class, students became familiar with the concept of money, different types of income and expenses, as well as the basics of financial planning and effective money management. In addition, group and pair work activities were organized, allowing participants to share their opinions and engage in discussions. The difference between needs and wants was explained, and the importance of rational and careful use of money in everyday life was emphasized.
The lesson also had an important educational value. Students were encouraged to develop qualities such as thriftiness, responsibility, planning skills, and the ability to manage financial resources wisely.
Thus, the lecture provided participants with fundamental knowledge necessary for confident and effective personal financial management.
