A presentation of scholarly works on Chinese literature was held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

On March 10, the Faculty of Oriental Studies hosted a presentation of the textbook “Literature of the New Era in China” and the monograph “Harmony of Spirit and Word: The Literary Heritage of Chinese Kazakhs”, authored by Ph.D. N.B. Saparbaeva and the prominent translator and literary scholar K. Kasymkhanuly. The event was attended by the faculty and teaching staff of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, lecturers of the Department of Sinology, doctoral and master’s students, undergraduates, as well as experts from China. The presentation was highly substantive and engaging: the authors discussed the scientific significance and distinctive features of their works in detail and provided thorough answers to participants’ questions. Attendees noted that the textbook and monograph are a valuable source of knowledge and emphasized their exceptional scientific and educational value.
