Foreign students studying in PG-16, PG-17, and PG-18 groups took part in the educational event "Kazakh National Games," organized by the Faculty of Pre-University Training at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in collaboration with subject teachers G. In keeping with the motto "Knowing the language, knowing the country," foreigners are introduced to the culture of the nation through language learning. During the educational event, slideshows were used to introduce language learners to our national games.
The audience was introduced to Kazakh games played indoors by young people. They spoke about games that had been forgotten and are now being revived, such as "Scarf Throw," "Bes Tas," played outdoors in courtyards, "Asyk," "Arkan Tartu," and "Togyzkumalak," which require a specific way of thinking.
Then, teachers M. Yeshimov and G. Musayeva and R. Duysenbaeva spoke in detail about horseback games popular among our people.
Then, teachers M. Yeshimov, G. Musayeva, and R. Duysenbaeva spoke in detail about the equestrian games practiced by our people. The foreign students, having learned that the rules of equestrian games require our children to be strong, agile, and dexterous, showed great interest in our national games.
Information about the Kazakh people's love for horses among livestock and their perception of them as "A man's wing is a horse" through our folk games "Kyz kuu", "Audaryspak", "Kokpar", "Tenge ilu" became new information for foreigners.
