“Constitutional Reforms – A Step Towards a New Kazakhstan”

On March 12, a briefing meeting on the topic “Constitutional Reforms – A Step Towards a New Kazakhstan” was held at Student Dormitory No. 13 of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology. The main purpose of the event was to inform students about the significance and importance of the upcoming referendum, enhance their civic responsibility and legal awareness, and increase their understanding of socio-political processes.

The meeting was conducted by Zhaksylyk Ruslanuly Eslamgaliyev, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law for Social and Educational Affairs. He provided students with detailed information about the concept of a referendum, its legal foundations, the procedure for its conduct, and the citizens’ right to participate in referendums. In addition, the speaker highlighted the importance of referendums in a democratic society and emphasized the significance of every citizen’s participation in making decisions related to the future of the country.

During the meeting, students had the opportunity to ask questions of interest and participate in an open discussion. Comprehensive answers and legal explanations were provided to all questions.

Such meetings contribute to the development of students’ legal culture, promote civic engagement, and help them obtain reliable information about important political processes in society.
