The 95th anniversary of the birth of the distinguished scientist, Doctor of Technical Sciences, and Professor Omirbek Zholdasbekov

On March 10, an informational and educational curator hour was held for second-year students majoring in Mechanics to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the birth of the distinguished scientist, Doctor of Technical Sciences, and Professor Omirbek Zholdasbekov.

            During the event, a documentary video about the scientist’s life and professional journey was presented. Students were introduced to his remarkable scientific achievements, his extensive research work, and his significant contribution to the development of science and education. Special attention was given to Zholdasbekov’s role in advancing mechanical and engineering sciences in Kazakhstan.

            It was emphasized that Omirbek Zholdasbekov authored numerous scientific works and made an outstanding contribution to the growth of national engineering science. Under his leadership, many young researchers were trained and inspired to pursue careers in scientific research.

            Such educational events play an important role in strengthening students’ interest in science and fostering respect for the legacy and achievements of prominent national scholars.
