Within the framework of SDG 4 "Quality Education": A book club meeting dedicated to the figures of the Alash movement was held

As part of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals under direction No. 4 — "Quality Education", a regular book club meeting was held on February 23 at the "Alatau Creative Hub" library. The event was dedicated to the anniversaries of prominent figures of the Alash movement — Alikhan Yermekov and Zhakyp Akbayev.

The meeting was organized by the Department of Religious and Cultural Studies, Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The session was moderated by K.A. Tursynbayeva, a 2nd-year doctoral student of the "Cultural Studies" educational program.

During the event, participants discussed the socio-political activities, scientific heritage, and contributions of Alikhan Yermekov and Zhakyp Akbayev to the development of Kazakh society. Special attention was paid to the role of the Kazakh intelligentsia of the early 20th century in shaping national consciousness and the idea of statehood.

The event was organized by Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Mira Rashidovna Baltymova and Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Professor Azhar Kuanyshbekovna Zholdubayeva.
