Students contributed to a good cause at a charity fair

The «Көмек» Public Foundation of the Committee of Youth Organizations at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University organized a charity fair.

The event was held in front of the Keremet Student Service Center. The main goal of the initiative is to support those in need and develop a culture of volunteerism among young people.

During the fair, students and volunteers not only traded, but also demonstrated their talents. Dishes and sweets prepared by students, as well as various handmade goods and products were presented on the shelves.

The event was actively attended by university students and teachers who supported the charity initiative. The visitors of the fair purchased the presented products and thereby contributed to the charity event. The funds raised will be used to help those in need.

The charity fair is closely linked to several areas of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In particular, it contributes to combating poverty (Goal №1), reducing social and economic inequality (Goal №10), and strengthening partnership and cooperation to achieve global sustainable Development Goals (Goal №17).

According to the organizers, such events unite young people for the sake of common good goals and increase their social responsibility.

The Көмек Foundation plans to further expand the volunteer movement and implement significant social projects.
