On March 06, 2026, at11:00 p.m., in room 2-1, under the guidance of Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Zh.Kh. Salkhanova and doctoral student Hou Na a discussion of SDG 5 - "Gender Equality" was held. The event, dedicated to International Women's Day on March 8, was organized in the format of a Round Table, in which students studying in the specialty "Journalism" took part. Students Mailybekova Gulnaz, Maksut Uldanay, Kulmyrza Shapagat, Lesbai Inkar and others spoke about the problems of gender equality in Kazakhstan and the countries of Central Asia. Reports and presentations were devoted to the problems of gender equality in the regions of Europe, America, Africa. Students Kabzhan Asel, Kuanysh Malika, Kuanyshbekova Eldana conducted a sociological survey. Galym Saltanat developed and presented a magazine dedicated to the topic under discussion, demonstrated the professional skills of a future journalist. Students Nurdaulet Olzhas, Rakym Dinmukhamed, Hasan Aruzhan considered the meaning of the terms: gender, justice, equality. The event was held at the international level with the participation of Chinese doctoral student Hou Na, who spoke about the situation of women in the PRC.
