On March 18, 2026, a round table entitled “Youth and Work Culture: Professional Adaptation in the Context of Globalization” was held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

The purpose of the event was to foster a work culture among young people in the context of globalization, analyze the features of their professional adaptation, and provide a scholarly understanding of the demands of the modern labor market. The round table was organized within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly aligning with SDG 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 4 Quality Education, and SDG 10 Reduced Inequalities.

During the event, students delivered presentations on the theoretical foundations of work culture, transformations in the global labor market, and modern professional competencies. Special attention was given to digital skills, communication abilities, and soft skills.

The event was attended by senior lecturers, students of the Department of Middle Eastern and South Asian Studies, as well as the Head of the Department and the Deputy Head. The discussion highlighted key factors influencing the professional adaptation of youth and emphasized the need to strengthen the role of the education system, enhance practical training, and expand international experience.
