Ramadan – Kindness Multiplies When Shared
During the holy month of Ramadan, charity and good deeds take on special significance. In this regard, an iftar event titled “Ramadan – Kindness Multiplies When Shared” was organized.
The event was held in line with the 2nd Sustainable Development Goal – Zero Hunger. Its main purpose was to support those in need, promote compassion and mutual assistance in society, and raise awareness of food security issues.
The event was organized by lecturers of the Department of Religious and Cultural Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University: S.M. Kaupenbayeva, N. Mukan, and E. Mazhen. During the iftar, a festive table was prepared for participants, and charitable assistance was provided.
In addition, the values of unity, empathy, and responsibility were promoted among the attendees.
The organizers emphasized that such initiatives help reduce social inequality, provide tangible support to those in need, and contribute to the implementation of sustainable development principles.
Every good deed during Ramadan is a vivid reflection of humanity and compassion. Indeed, kindness grows when shared and leads society toward positive change.
