DEAN’S OFFICE MEETING HELD AT THE FACULTY OF ORIENTAL STUDIES WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF NAURYZNAME WEEK

Today, a regular meeting of the Dean’s Office was held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies as part of the Nauryzname Week. The meeting aimed to ensure coordination of academic, research, and educational activities, as well as to discuss the organization of upcoming festive and public events at a high level.
During the meeting, Dean of the Faculty M.Sh. Egamberdiyeva presented the key events planned within the framework of Nauryzname Week. In particular, special attention was given to the organization of cultural events at the faculty, including “Kazakh National Clothing as a Reflection of National Culture” and “National Sports: Spirit and Strength,” aimed at promoting national values, traditional sports, strengthening national spirit among youth, and fostering interest in intellectual games.
This initiative is intended to increase interest among students and faculty in national attire and to promote the rich cultural heritage of the Kazakh people. The event program also includes a Toguz Kumalak competition, ensuring active student participation and large-scale organization at the faculty level.The meeting also addressed the importance of increasing responsibility in organizing faculty events, enhancing student engagement, and strengthening coordination among departments. The Dean encouraged faculty members to actively participate in the upcoming events and emphasized the importance of joint efforts to ensure their successful implementation.
The meeting was attended by the Dean, heads of departments, and deputy deans for academic and student affairs. As a result, specific tasks were assigned and responsible persons were designated for the organization of upcoming events.
The events organized within the Nauryzname Week at the Faculty of Oriental Studies are aimed at promoting national values, developing environmental and cultural awareness among youth, and enhancing the social life of the university.
