A delegation from Estonia visited KazNU
A delegation of representatives of the Estonian education sector has arrived at al-Farabi Kazakh National University on an official visit. The delegation included school principals and teachers from Tallinn.
Honorary guests were received by Margulan Ibraimov, Member of the Board, Vice–Rector for Scientific and Innovative Activities of KazNU. In his speech, the Vice-rector emphasized the university's status in the international educational space, noting that KazNU is among the Top 200 best universities in the world according to the QS WUR rating and occupies a leading position in Central Asia.

"Today, KazNU is on the path of transformation into a world-class research university. Currently, more than 7,000 international students from 55 countries study at our educational institution. 60 joint dual degree programs are being implemented with leading universities in Europe and Asia. We are always open to new initiatives and intend to develop partnerships with Estonian universities",- said Margulan Ibraimov.

The head of the delegation, Vice Mayor of Tallinn and Head of the Department of Education, Andrei Kante, expressed interest in exchanging teachers within the framework of academic mobility programs. According to him, Kazakhstan and Estonia have common interests in improving the quality of higher education.

After the official meeting, a campus tour was organized for the guests. The delegation members got acquainted with the modern infrastructure of the university and visited the KazNU Museum, where they learned about the history of the formation of the country's leading university and its outstanding graduates.
