Faculty of Oriental Studies Celebrates National Clothing Day

At our university, the Nauryznama decade is being celebrated with a wide range of engaging and vibrant events. According to the program, March 18 has been designated as National Clothing Day.

This day aims to revive national culture and traditions and to promote the history of the Kazakh people. On this occasion, people wear traditional clothing and highlight its cultural significance.

The Faculty of Oriental Studies also celebrated this day in a special way. Faculty members came to work dressed in traditional outfits such as dresses, kamzols, zhadaqays, and chapans, decorated with classic national ornaments and noted for their elegance and simplicity. The team took group photos and created beautiful video clips.

This day, dedicated to national clothing as a reflection of the national spirit, became a meaningful occasion to remember traditions passed down from generation to generation.
