“Shanyrak Day” at the Student Residence!

On March 17, 2026, at 19:00, the Higher School of Economics and Business held a “Shanyrak Day” event at Student Residence No.16 as part of the Nauryznama program.

The purpose of the event was to introduce students to national values, explain the role and importance of the family in society, and promote the principles of unity, harmony, and mutual respect. It also aimed to strengthen the spiritual and moral education of young people.

During the event, Deputy Dean for Social and Educational Affairs I.U. Kuliev emphasized that the concept of “Shanyrak” for the Kazakh people is not only a symbol of family, but also represents unity, prosperity, and continuity of generations. Throughout the event, students became familiar with national traditions and gained a deeper understanding of the importance of unity under one common “shanyrak.” Such educational and cultural activities help shape national identity and foster respect for cultural heritage among youth.
