As part of the “Nauryznama” decade, a large-scale environmental campaign titled “Green Initiative – A Bright Future” was organized at our university.
The purpose of the event, dedicated to the Day of Renewal, was to increase the environmental responsibility of students and university staff, foster a culture of care for nature, and improve the university’s surroundings.
During the campaign, landscaping work was carried out at the faculty: the soil of flowers was replaced, and the area was thoroughly cleaned. Special attention was given to the maintenance of green spaces. Faculty members, staff, and students actively participated in the event, contributing to the common cause. The area in front of Dormitory No. 13 was additionally landscaped, enhancing its overall appearance.
The event went beyond simple cleaning and beautification, becoming an important initiative aimed at developing environmental awareness. It was emphasized that caring for, preserving, and protecting nature is the responsibility of every citizen.
Such initiatives help foster an active civic position among young people and increase environmental responsibility. Moreover, the event aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to environmental protection and the development of sustainable cities and communities. These efforts contribute to integrating sustainable development principles into everyday life.
This campaign not only promotes a love for nature but also strengthens the unity of the university community, serving as an important event with strong educational value.
