On March 20, 2026, at the Department of the Middle East and South Asia, Associate professor Batyrkhan Bolatbek Shadenuly conducted a seminar-training on the topic “New methodological directions in science”, organized by the Council of Young Scientists. The main purpose of the event was to introduce young researchers and master's students to modern research methods, explain ways to improve the quality of scientific work, and exchange experience on the application of new approaches in research activities.

During the seminar, the speaker provided a detailed overview of the importance of interdisciplinary research in modern science, contemporary methodological approaches, and effective strategies for conducting scientific research. Special attention was paid to writing scientific articles in accordance with international standards, proper use of sources, and maintaining the principles of academic integrity.
