“How to use resources at home and at university wisely using the 3R principle: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.”

On March 20 within the framework of  “Responsible Consumption and Production” SDG 12 an international online event was held with the participation of 1st-year students of Higher School of Economics and Business. The topic of the event was: “How to use resources at home and at university wisely using the 3R principle: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.”. The invited guests included: an English teacher and researcher from the Higher College of Innovative Eurasian University (Pavlodar) — Ayauly K. Bakassova, PhD, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Practical English at Abai KazNPU — Tulegen A. Merkibaev, as well as students from China (Chongqing Southwest University) — Diniyar Bekbolatova and Azhar Aidoskyzy.

  During the event, students presented examples of responsible resource consumption from global practices and everyday life, proposed ideas for improving the use of limited resources, and took part in the quiz “Water, Food and Resources.”

The event was held in an interactive format in a friendly and engaging atmosphere.
