Soil Ecology Laboratory has been accredited
The Scientific Research Laboratory "Soil Ecology" of the Scientific Center "Sustainable Development and Rational Use of Natural Resources" of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has successfully passed the first accreditation according to international standards.
The audit conducted by the National Accreditation Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan confirmed the full compliance of the technical base and qualifications of laboratory specialists with international requirements.

Today, the laboratory conducts comprehensive research to assess the ecological state of soils, restore lands disturbed as a result of human activity, and determine the level of environmental pollution. Based on data collected from various regions of Kazakhstan, scientists have created an electronic database of soil cover. This made it possible to establish systematic monitoring, which makes it possible to predict the development of environmental processes in the future.

The high quality of the laboratory's work is ensured by modern technical equipment. In particular, such devices as atomic absorption spectrometers, high-precision microscopes and specialized soil complexes allow conducting scientific research at the international level.

This equipment is included in the state register and guarantees the reliability and accuracy of the research results. The received accreditation strengthened the scientific research potential of KazNU scientists and confirmed the university's leading position in the field of environmental expertise.
