The next seminar-training aimed at advancing the level of scientific publications was held

On the initiative of the Department of Science and Innovation, the university held another substantive event aimed at enhancing the level of scientific publications.

On March 27, 2026, a seminar-training was organized at the Al-Farabi Scientific Library on the topics «Paths to Successful Publication and Searching for Scientific Collaboration»  and «Preparing a Manuscript for Journals Indexed in the Scopus Database».

The event featured Rabiga Kozhamkul, a consultant for Informascope in the Central Asia region, as the speaker. During the seminar-training, she outlined the main stages of publishing a scientific article and explained how to effectively present research results. Additionally, opportunities for establishing international collaborations, conducting joint research, and properly utilizing academic networks were widely discussed.

Participants were provided with detailed guidance on the requirements, structure, and formatting features of articles for journals indexed in Scopus. Key aspects for authors included selecting the right journal, improving manuscript quality, and preparing for the peer-review process.

As a result of the event, participants became familiar with the essential steps for preparing scientific publications and gained important information to advance their research at the international level.
