KazNU took part in the global environmental action "Earth Hour"

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has once again joined the global Earth Hour campaign.

This year's event was held as part of the «Таза Қазақстан» initiative. During the campaign, the exterior decorative lighting of the university's main building was temporarily turned off from 08:30 pm to 09:30 pm local time.

This event is one of the world's largest movements aimed at protecting nature, drawing attention to climate change and saving energy resources. KazNU, as the country's leading university, is actively involved in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

It is worth noting that this year the international initiative is being held in the world for the 19th time, and in Kazakhstan for the 17th time.
