Literary meeting with Muhammed -Kanapiya Sharkhanuly, a writer, screenwriter, and member of the Writers’ Union of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On March 25, 2026, a literary meeting  with Muhammed -Kanapiya Sharkhanuly, a writer, screenwriter, and member of the Writers’ Union of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. The event was organized by the Department of Kazakh Literature and Literary Theory and attended by second-year students majoring in Kazakh Philology, taught by lecturer Erkhan Karbozov.

During the meeting, a comprehensive analysis of the short story collection “Royal” was conducted. Students paid special attention to the artistic features of the work, the psychological depth of the characters, and the author’s linguistic mastery. In particular, the discussion focused on the reflection of contemporary society and the complexity of human emotions.
