Al-Farabi Center to be established in Bukhara

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held a meeting with Rector of Bukhara State University Obidjon Khamidov.

During the meeting, the parties signed a strategic roadmap aimed at bringing the bilateral partnership to a qualitatively new level.

This document opens up wide opportunities for the implementation of joint educational programs and research projects, as well as for the mutual exchange of experience between students and teachers within the framework of academic mobility.

The important news of the meeting was the initiative of Zhanseit Tuimebayev to create the Al-Farabi Scientific and Educational center on the basis of Bukhara State University. This center is intended to become a unique platform for popularizing the legacy of the great thinker, studying the common scientific and spiritual values of the Turkic peoples and developing modern areas of science.

In turn, Rector Obidjon Khamidov expressed full support for this idea and interest in deepening ties with KazNU.

Following the talks, the parties agreed to establish a special joint working group to implement all the proposals put forward.
