Participation in the Republican Conference “Civilization of the Great Steppe: History and Heritage”

The Head of the Museum of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Ardak Dzhabykpayeva, participated in the Republican scientific and practical conference “Civilization of the Great Steppe: History and Heritage”, held from March 25 to 28, 2026,in Turkistan.

The conference was dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the “Uly Dala Eli” Center  and served as an important platform for professional dialogue and exchange of experience. It brought together museum professionals from across the country, representatives of regional cultural departments, the Association of Museums of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and administrative officials.

During the conference, key issues related to the study, preservation, and promotion of the historical and cultural heritage of the Great Steppe were discussed, along with modern approaches to museum development.

A rich program was organized for participants: in addition to academic sessions, they took part in cultural events and visited significant spiritual and historical sites of Turkestan. All activities were conducted at a high organizational level in accordance with the planned program.
