Spring Renewal at the Higher School of Economics and Business: Clean-Up Campaign within Nauryznama

31 march, 2026

As part of the Nauryznama initiative, a large-scale clean-up campaign was organized at the Higher School of Economics and Business, involving the academic staff, faculty administration, and four departments — Economics, Management, Business Technologies, and Finance and Accounting. The event was aimed not only at improving cleanliness and order within the institution but also at strengthening team cohesion and modernizing the educational environment.

During the campaign, systematic and meaningful work was carried out across all departments. Classrooms were thoroughly cleaned, workplaces were organized, and teaching and methodological materials were systematized. Particular attention was paid to the organization of classroom space. The academic staff approached this process creatively by rearranging furniture to create a more comfortable and efficient learning environment. As a result, classrooms became more spacious, well-lit, and harmoniously organized. These improvements positively impact the learning process and enhance students’ motivation.

The successful implementation of the clean-up campaign was largely ensured by the active participation and strong teamwork of the academic staff. Each employee contributed responsibly to the common goal, demonstrating a high level of mutual support and respect within the team.

Special recognition should be given to the senior advisor of the faculty, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Senior Lecturer D.R. Turarova, as well as department specialist Zh.N. Nusupbayeva. Their organizational skills, initiative, and active involvement played a significant role in the success of the event. Their coordination efforts ensured the efficiency and high quality of the campaign.

The coincidence of the event with the Nauryz holiday further enhanced its significance. Spring symbolizes renewal, new beginnings, cleanliness, and development. In this context, the academic staff arrived at an important conclusion: any positive change and renewal must begin with the individual. A clean and well-organized educational environment reflects internal culture, responsibility, and professional attitude.

The clean-up campaign conducted within Nauryznama is not a one-time event but part of a systematic effort aimed at improving the educational environment of the Higher School of Economics and Business. Clean, comfortable, and well-organized classrooms create favorable conditions for students, contribute to improving the quality of education, and increase engagement in learning.

Moreover, such initiatives foster a careful and responsible attitude toward the university environment. Cleanliness, order, and aesthetics are becoming integral components of academic culture. The team of the Higher School of Economics and Business clearly demonstrates that the quality of education begins with respect for the environment, colleagues, and the educational space.

This initiative also carries significant educational value for students. By setting an example in maintaining cleanliness and order, faculty members instill in students values such as responsibility, diligence, and respect for shared spaces. Thus, the university fosters not only knowledge but also high culture and civic responsibility.

In conclusion, the clean-up campaign became a vivid example of team unity, cooperation, and shared responsibility. The Higher School of Economics and Business will continue its efforts to enhance the quality of education and develop a modern academic environment.
