SDG-4: training seminar on the topic: «Student Stress Resilience»
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Psychological Support Service, and the Research and Practice Center “Inclusive Environment,” within the framework of SDG 4: “Quality Education,” held a seminar-training titled “Student Stress Resilience” for students living in Dormitory No. 6.
The purpose of the seminar-training was to promote students’ professional and personal development, enhance their resilience to stressful situations, and develop emotional stability and self-regulation skills as future specialists. Active students of the Faculty of Law participated in the event and learned about the importance of stress management and prevention.
During the seminar, participants discussed the following key topics:
The concepts of stress and worldview and their interrelation;
Characteristics of the stress phenomenon and its types (acute and chronic stress, positive and negative stress);
Ways of managing stress and methods of overcoming it;
Effective approaches to regulating stress in student life, the educational process, and professional activities;
Scientific and psychological perspectives on stress.
The seminar continued with a practical session conducted in an interactive format, including psychological training and relaxation exercises. These activities helped students better understand themselves, identify their internal resources, and develop effective coping strategies in stressful situations. Participants shared their life experiences and gained a deeper understanding of the importance of stress resilience.
During the event, participants exchanged ideas, gained new insights, and received useful information. The seminar was held in a positive and friendly atmosphere, helping students clarify their professional directions and build confidence in overcoming challenges.
At the end of the seminar, participants expressed their gratitude to the organizers and emphasized the importance of holding such events regularly for students’ personal and professional development.
