International Scientific Seminar on Post-Quantum Cryptography
On April 1, 2026, an international scientific seminar was held at the Information Security Laboratory of the Institute of Information and Computational Technologies.
The guest of the seminar was a renowned scientist from Georgia, cryptographer, Corresponding Member of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, Professor Maksim Yavich.
The event was organized by special invitation of the institute and was attended by doctoral and master’s students of the Department of Cybersecurity and Cryptology, Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence.
The main topic of the seminar was post-quantum cryptographic algorithms. In his presentation, Professor Maksim Yavich highlighted current research in this field and thoroughly explained the importance and future prospects of post-quantum cryptography.
At the end of the seminar, participants asked questions of interest, leading to a meaningful exchange of ideas and discussion.
