"Meeting with the School of Leaders: Self-Governance as a Path to Leadership"
As part of the pedagogical practice program, under the guidance of instructor Kenzhebayeva Merey Omarovna, organized by students Ashim Temirlan and Yesmaganbetov Bekzat and with the participation of faculty students, the group attended the Freedom Lifestyle Meetup — an event featuring prominent figures from Kazakhstan's IT and business landscape.
Speakers included Arshyn Sultangazy (BCC), Darkhan Barambayev (Globerce Capital), Ali Duisebayev (Snoonu), and Kuddys Tengizbayev (BCC). Each speaker presented authentic case studies, discussing how they diagnosed failing product features, made strategic pivots, and maintained product integrity throughout the development cycle.
Key takeaways:

Analyzing real product failures revealed how structured thinking leads to better solutions.
A core message from the speakers: "Never devalue the product that existed before the update."
Ali Duisebayev: "A marketplace is a two-sided product" — success depends on balancing the needs of both the supply and demand sides simultaneously.

The event gave students a rare opportunity to connect academic knowledge with real industry experience, develop product thinking skills, and gain insight from professionals who are actively shaping Kazakhstan's digital economy.
