Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a meeting with Professor Christian Sue of Université Grenoble Alpes, France.

The foreign scholar was received by Margulan Kassenovich Ibraimov, Member of the Management Board and Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation. During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of important issues related to the further development of scientific cooperation.

In particular, they considered opportunities for joint research in the fields of Earth sciences, geology, tectonics, and geodynamics, participation in international research projects, expansion of academic ties, as well as the organization of internships for young researchers and doctoral students. In addition, the participants discussed the exchange of scientific expertise, the implementation of joint initiatives, and the prospects for long-term partnership.

In his remarks, Margulan Ibraimov emphasized that Al-Farabi Kazakh National University attaches special importance to strengthening international scientific cooperation. According to him, such meetings not only enhance the university’s research potential, but also lay the foundation for new areas of partnership.

For his part, Professor Christian Sue of Université Grenoble Alpes highly praised KazNU’s research and innovation agenda and expressed his readiness to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the future.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on the importance of deepening scientific partnership and continuing cooperation within the framework of specific projects.
