«Law and order» in Kazakhstan is a fundamental stateprinciple and a strategic coursetostrengthen the rule of law,justice andpublicsafety. The goal: to create a culture of law-abiding behavior,zerotolerance foroffenses, andincrease trustingovernment agencies. At thebeginning of the academic year, thesupervisors of the Department of Language and General Education Training of Foreigners of the Faculty of Pre-university Education mustconduct explanatory workoncompliance with the laws of the country,aswell as the rules of stayinourcountry,withstudents who have arrived fromabroad. At the curatorial meetings, the mentors elaborate on the need for strictadherence to the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Student's Code of Honor. On September 8, 2026, representatives of the Department of the Migration Police of Almaty held a conversation with students who arrived to study at the Faculty of Pre-university Education. During the meeting, the students were reminded of the requirements for foreign citizens in general, and for international students in particular. The meeting was held in a constructive manner.
