YOUNG SCIENTISTS AL-FARABI KAZNU AWARDED CERTIFICATES INSPIRE

30 April 2010 British Council, the international project INSPIRE held an educational seminar for young scientists in Kazakhstan. 25 young scientists from 11 cities of Kazakhstan invited at the seminar. The work also involved experts project British Council, members of the international project INSPIRE, Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, National Center for Scientific and Technical Information.

The purpose of the workshop: to teach young scientists to the process of successfully applying for international grants program to fund research activities, including funds from the UK, and the process of participation in international scientific conferences.

After the workshop, and providing scientific research, six young scientists were awarded certificates INSPIRE, giving preference to participate in the global educational seminar in London (UK), which will be presented to participants from all over the world.

Remember, the holder of the grant of an international project INSPIRE is the Department of Geography, which has a sustainable partnership with the University of Nottingham. The project faculty participated in a study tour to exchange experience in the University of Nottingham. One of the key areas of cooperation with the University of Nottingham is the greatest measure of assistance in the development and implementation of a joint scientific - educational project on climate change and the development of joint PhD doctoral program in the direction of «Environmental change» in conjunction with the University of Nottingham and an international program Bolashak. The project scientist’s geographical faculty can participate in projects of the University of Nottingham and stay with short-term training during the academic year, according to the quota allocated to the project.
