Presentation of the "Three Arys" book-album organized by International Organization TURKSOY

October 9, 2019 at 15 hours in the hall to them. N. Dauletova’s National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a literary evening dedicated to the 125th birthday of the poet, classic of Kazakh literature Ilyas Zhansugurov, and the presentation of the book-album “Ush Arys”, published on the initiative of the International Organization TURKSOY.
The “Ush Arys” book-album is dedicated to the literary heritage of the three pillars of Kazakh literature S. Seifullin, B. Maylin and I. Zhansugurov, who were born in one year (1894) and became victims of Stalin’s repressions in the same year (1938).The album-book includes works of art by famous Russian masters of the last century and the present, based on the literary works of these poets and writers. The purpose of this project is to learn about the literary heritage of the masters of the pen, to demonstrate the literary works of prominent poet and writer to readers through art.As part of the event, a book exhibition was organized from the fund of the National Library dedicated to the life and work of I. Zhansugurov. Relatives of S. Seifullin, B. Maylin and I. Zhansugurov, as well as representatives of the intelligentsia and literature lovers participated in the event.
