The delegation from the University of Chemistry and Technology of the Czech Republic visited Al-Farabi KazNU in order to expand cooperation.
At the meeting, the First Vice-Rector of KazNU Mukhambetkali Burkitbayev spoke about the scientific achievements of the University, the development of its material and technical base. The parties discussed ways of collaboration and identified common ground between the two Universities. These are chemical pharmaceuticals, materials science, the construction industry, and etc.
In particular, the Czech side noted its close ties with industry and the industrial sector, which contribute to the acquisition of practical skills by students. Today at the University of Chemistry and Technology, one of the leading universities in the Czech Republic, more than four thousand students are studying.
It is also worth noting that Czech colleagues offered to publish in their scientific journal. The programs and conditions for joining the European Association of Universities in Chemical Education were discussed.
As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached, involving the development of programs of academic mobility of students and teachers.
