International Integration Forum "Borderland-2019"
The event was held by the Institute for Cross-Border Cooperation and Integration with the support of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States and the Belgorod State National Research University. The Forum was attended by over 60 experts from various regions of Russia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Belarus, Armenia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and other CIS countries.
The Institute for Cross-Border Cooperation and Integration regularly holds international events of various levels, within the framework of which a search is made for the most effective formats for discussing current interaction practices in the CIS.
At the plenary meeting of the International Integration Forum “Borderland-2019”, scientists and experts in the field of international integration and cross-border interaction made presentations.Professor Sansyzbaeva G.N. made a report on the prospects for the development of cross-border cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia.
Director of the Institute for Cross-Border Interaction and Integration Viktor Sapryka presented the project “Interregional Network of Schools of Public Administration of the Eurasian Economic Union”, which was launched in November 2019. The project aims to support and develop a public administration system in the states of the Eurasian Economic Union.
During the two days of the “Borderland-2019” forum, issues of development and cooperation of border countries were considered, recommendations on the prospects of cross-border cooperation of the CIS countries in all areas of social development, including military security, were heard, as discussed by the representative from Belarus Avdonin A.A.
The Forum was held in active mode, many interesting reports were presented on the problems of cross-border and economic cooperation, the forum participants received certificates.
