The second year student of the department of the Far East Abzalova Zhuldyz is the chairman of the Academic Student Council «Sanaly Urpaq». The Student Council regularly organizes various activities for students. The “Kitap fest” project organized by the “Sanaly Urpaq” Academic Student’s Council was held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies. “Kitap fest” is a new format of book exchange among students of the faculty. The aim of the project is to promote reading books among young people and introducing team members. According to the rules of the project, students had to register in advance. Students who completed all the rules can choose the book that they liked and exchange with their book on the day of the project. About 30 students took part in this project.
