Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain) took a brilliant defense of the thesis of doctoral graduate PhD Al-Farabi KazNU of Abdiadil Askaruly

Іn Polytechnic University of Valencia (PUV, Spain) held a dissertation of 2010 PhD graduate A. Askaruly in Applied Mathematics. This settlement and the theoretical work that has received the highest score written under the supervision of prof. V. Arkhipov and prof. I.M. Tkachenko-Gursky under the Agreement between Kazakh National University and Polytechnic University of Valencia on the PhD program of dual diploma, signed by the rectors of the universities in 2009. Topic of the thesis is closely connected with research in the field of inertial confinement fusion. The findings appear in a number of high rating physics journals, including Physical Review (impact factor 2.4). Well-known scientists from France, Germany and Spain, including one of the founders of the theory of dense plasma physics Professor C. Deutsch (XI University of Paris, France) took the floor as the official opponents and members of the council in the defense (the tribunal).

According to attended the PhD defense researchers, the applicant reported excellent results and answered all questions. As stated Professor C. Deutsch, despite the fact that he participated in many defenses over the past few years, scientific training of A. Askaruly in comparison with other young scientists, defended the thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), he seems very high.

Optics and Plasma Physics Department of KazNU continues cooperation with the Department of Applied Mathematics of PUV.
