Nadir Mamilov-candidate of biological Sciences, associate Professor, associate Professor of the Department of biodiversity and bioresources of al-Farabi Kazakh national University.
Mamilov N. sh. is a graduate of the Kazakh state University named after S. M. Kirov in 1990. In 1996, he defended his PhD thesis at the Institute of Zoology of the KN MES RK. He started working at al-Farabi KazNU in 1990 as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Zoology and ichthyology.
He started teaching in 1995, first as an assistant, and now as an associate Professor. All his work is connected with the al-Farabi KazNU. In 2017, he received the title of associate Professor (associate Professor) in the field of biology.
Mamilov N. sh. actively participates in research work: in the period from 1990 to 1999. he was a project executor under the supervision of prof. V. Mitrofanov, from 2003 to 2017. he led the execution of research projects, currently he is the executor of 2 research projects. The results of scientific research have been published in more than 100 scientific papers, including articles in journals included in the Scopus database and Web of Science, sections in 3 monographs, according to the Scopus database has an h-index – 2.
Associate Professor Mamilov N. sh. actively participates in training, under his leadership defended 3candidates of biological Sciences. Public work: member of the Kazakhstan Committee of the UNESCO program "Man and the biosphere" (MAB), member of the international Union for conservation of nature (IUCN) working group on the conservation of fish diversity in Central Asia. Awarded the title of "Best University teacher" (2019).
