Language is a symbol of friendship and harmony
On September 21, 2020 the Center "Russian language and culture" of al-Farabi Kazakh National University organized a online festive evening: “Language is a symbol of friendship and harmony”.
The evening began with the Alexander Yashin’s magnificent words
By tradition, a welcoming speech was delivered by the Consulate General of the Russian Federation and Olga Moscheeva, the leading employee of the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo.
The poems and the songs were recited on the online platform in Russian, English, German, Kazakh, Turkmen, Dungan, Korean. The participants told about the history, the customs and the traditions of their languages. Uzbek schoolchildren from Namangan recorded their message on the video at the initiation of Aziza Mirzanazarova, the head of the Russian center. This message was the wonderful gift for all the participants of the event.
The pupils of the Right to Love Foundation, together with their teacher Maria Makarova, also sang poems and songs in several languages, and Arzu Mammadova, the head of the Russian Center of Baku University splendidly presented her native Azerbaijani language.
Every event usually comes to end. Our event ended with loud applauds.
