Cooperation agreements between Baku State University and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

21 September 2020 at a meeting of the rector of KazNU named after al-Farabi held an online videoconference with participation of the rector of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi, Academician of the Author G. M., rector of Baku State University Academician Yelchin Babayev, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Kazakhstan Rashad Mammadov, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Azerbaijan Serzhan Abdikarimova, Dean of the law faculty of Baku State University, Professor Amir Aliyev, Dean of the faculty of law of the al-Farabi national University, doctor of law, Professor Baideldinov Daulet Laikovich, head of the Department of customs, financial and environmental law, doctor of law, Professor zhatkanbayeva Aizhan Yerzhanovna and the faculty of the University.

During the meeting, within the framework of the General agreement on cooperation between Baku State University and al - Farabi Kazakh National University, an Agreement was signed on the establishment of a two-degree master's program in the specialty "Maritime and energy law".The faculty of law of KazNU employs leading lawyers who have unique experience Working with the world's famous oil giant - the Chevron company. Well-known scientists and authors of numerous scientific papers in the field of oil and international law work at Baku State University.Using the joint experience of our scientists, led to the decision to create a master's program of two-degree education in the specialty "Maritime and energy law", said the rector of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University, academician Mutanov G.
