The Oriental thinker has described in his treatises the correct interpretation of the pillars of Islam, which carries with it virtue and patience. He drew a clear line between religion and science», – said the rector in his speech. The two sides emphasized that by promoting Al-Farabi’s work and ideas about a virtuous society, the world will develop in a new format free of negativity and aggression.
In the end of the meeting, as a sign of special gratitude and for outstanding merits before the University, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic in Kazakhstan Mr. Philippe Martinet was awarded a gold medal of KazNU.
