Activists of the youth organization together with the International Anti-Nuclear Movement "Nevada-Semey" on October 19 celebrated the day of the last explosion on Kazakhstani soil by organizing an online round table on the topic "The decisive role of the MAD" Nevada-Semey "and its leader O.O. Suleimenov in stopping nuclear tests on the territory of Kazakhstan and in closing the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site ”. During the online round table, the issues of the explosions of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site, the results of the organization of the Nevada-Semey movement achieved over 30 years were considered.

We are glad that the new generation is setting global goals for itself - to achieve an end to the build-up of nuclear weapons and live in a world free of them.

Veteran of the international anti-nuclear movement "Nevada-Semey", Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor of KazNU named after Al-Farabi Viktor Mikhailovich Inyushin in his speech noted the incredible efforts of the leader of the movement O.O. Suleimenova. In the midst of the ideological confrontation between the USSR and the United States - the Cold War - Olzhas Suleimenov, urging the world to come to its senses, wrote the poem "Wild Field".

"If the world does not yearn - and you, Kazakhstan, do not be sad. The world has been tested by you. Kazakhstan, if you can, forgive. And long live the prohibition of tests!" - wrote O. Suleimenov.

As a result of the round table, the youth received valuable information from the leaders of the international anti-nuclear movement "Nevada-Semey".
